Ocean Event Management was established by Sean Scott BSc (Hons), Tech-IOSH in 2008 as Northern Ireland’s only dedicated Maritime Event Management Company dedicated solely to the promotion of Maritime Festival work and associated Event Management requirements. Sean graduated from St John Moore’s University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Maritime Studies, specializing in Port Operations, Maritime Law, Maritime Commerce and Integrated Transport. With over 20 years management experience in the international logistics and commercial shipping industry in Senior Management & Directorial positions, working in the Festival and marine sports sectors with projects such as the Celtic European Festival of the Sea, Belfast Tall Ships 2009, Volvo Ocean Race 2008-09, Instigator and Project Partner for Clipper RTW Yacht Race 2011-12...Derry- Londonderry Yacht Entry.
